Shy the grey tabby kitten was found with one eye protuding from her eye socket. She was found along with another white kitten which we believed to be Shy's sister who also has severe eyes infection. These poor kittens were found by a kind lady who rescued them from Tanjung Aru and contacted ALIR for help. Both kittens were handed to our rescuer and rushed to Klinik Haiwan & Surgery Tuaran. Manja the white kitty has already lost one of her eye due to the infection and the other eye can still be save with medications and eye drops. The other is very unlucky coz her condition is much worse then her sister and causing her in so much pain. Shy's eye was protuded from the socket which vet believed started with a minor eye infection but was left untreated and it has become severely damaged. Eye removal surgery is the only option to save her life and it was successfully done by the vet at Klinik Haiwan & Surgery Tuaran. The cost of surgery and medications...
