His owner decided to leave him to die without getting the treatment he desperately needed. Tigger arrived at the clinic with severe injuries and in extreme pain. His X-ray images revealed that he broke both of his femur bones, and the vet explained that the surgery to repair the broken thigh is complicated and expensive, and it takes a few months for Tigger to fully heal. The 1st surgery to insert the IM pins into both of the femurs was done, but it showed signs of complications a week after the surgery, and Tigger was once again rushed to the surgery room to drain the abscess, which infected the intramedullary implant.
