We received a report about a dog with cancer in Kota Belud few months ago , but everytime we went to KB and search for this dog , she either not in the area or will ran away whenever our rescuer tried to get near her. On the 26th November , she finally rescued and rushed to Klinik Haiwan & Surgeri Tuaran for immediate treatment. She was examine and vet confirmed that she is suffering from TVT Cancer and needed surgery to remove the tumor and also 3 session of chemotherapies . The blood test result also shown that the dog that we named Mami Flower is also positive with heartworm and 2 types of blood parasites. TVT is a highly treatable cancer and in most cases it is curable and Chemotherapy has been demonstrated to be the most effective therapy.
