  Sara the young female dog was discovered by a member of public with a very huge belly and she knew that Sara is in need of medical attention so she had reported this case to us for help. Rescuers were assign to help this poor dog in Kota Belud , Sabah and with the help of the informer , Sara was captured then taken straight to Klinik haiwan & surgeri Tuaran. Poor Sara had arrived at the clinic with an enlarged and expanded abdomen area full of fluid that was overtaking her body. Vet and team were able to reduce the swelling by removing fluid from the Sara's belly. 2 litres of fluid was removed from her belly, you can see that the size of her belly had reduced after the procedure. The enlargement can take place as a result of a variety of factors and as for now , vet has not yet confirm the cause of her condition. They will need to do few more test before they are able to confirm the caused of Sara's heartbreaking condition.  The cost of Sara's treatment is around RM50...

The most heartbreaking part of our job is when we rescued the most severe cases like this ... 😔😔😔 Abandoned by her owner while she was still fighting for her dear life to live ... she was still breathing when she was found in Pekan Tuaran. Rescuer rushed her to Klinik Haiwan & Surgeri Tuaran for emergency treatment. Her whole body was severely infected with fungus & severely dehydrated ... we were told by the informer that someone left the poor cat near the parking lot , she thought that it was a dead cat but as she came closer to check , the cat was still breathing and contacted us for help.  Vet and nurses have tried their best to save this poor baby , but the poor cat passed away few hours after she was taken to the vet. 😔😔😔 It's depressing .. it hurts ... why???!   Meet Mami Rich , the mama cat that was abandoned on the side of the road along with her 3 sick kittens. Just few days after we rescued her , her kittens died and she become depressed. She will cry all day and night , searching her kittens at every corners in the room. She didn't understand that her kittens had already died 😢😢😢.  Since her foster mum gave birth to her baby girl in December , Mami Rich was allowed to come in her foster mum's room to visit her baby sister . Once she entered the room , she will go straight to her baby sister's bed.  She will sit and sleep next to her baby sister the whole time. Whenever the baby cries , she the one who will check on the baby and will try to comfort her.  Mami Rich must be missing her kittens so much and now she's taking care of Baby Irin just like her own baby too.  Animals do have feeling too ... they can be sad , happy and angry too ... just like you and me ... please stop hurting them .. stop abandoning them...
