December the Miracle 3 legged Cat

December the Cat who was severely injured and found with bone was sticking out of the rotten flesh rescued from Hilltop in December 2016.

No one knows where did he came from and how did the cat end up there .. December thr cat probably a stray cat which been bitten by dog and struggling to find a safe place to hide and went out to look for food yet end up stranded on the side of the road . Luckily December was found by a kind hearted person who finally seeked help from ALIR.

When ALIR reached the location we were shocked to see the poor cat condition and rushed to SAMC Foh Sang for immediate treatment. The cat's infected leg need to be amputate but need to wait until the cat's condition is stable before the Vet proceed with the surgery.

Few days after he was rescued , he finally done with the surgery and was discharged from the ward.

Its exactly 3 years since December was rescued from death , saving him really made a big impact in our journey as rescuers , it makes us believe that every single creature deserves a second chance and miracle can happened even toward the animals too.

You and i and the rest of the creatures all over the world are created by the same God and all should be treated with respect and kindness.

They might not able to repay us for every good deeds that we did to them but one thing for sure , it help to make this world a better place ...it gave hope to the world and it shows that humanity still exist ..

These are photos of December of his condition when we first found him

He was not moving at all and we thought that we were too late , but seeing him breathing made us stay positive and we drive him off straight to the vet.

Photos of December during our 1st visit at the vet . Since his blood coubt was very low , vet was not able to proceed with the surgery to amputate the infected leg . Instead the clean the wound and let the bone sticking out and given hom medication that needed to increased his blood level and to make him more stable so the vet can proceed with the surgery.

1st photo of December just few hour after the amputation surgery.

Photos of December after he was discharged from the vet and during his recovery process with his rescuer and also his new mom.

Tigger, the dog with broken legs who was left to die

πŸ†˜️πŸ†˜️πŸ“Œ Please help Tigger, the dog with broken legs who was left to die πŸ™πŸ˜  He was once loved, but after he was hit by a car while guarding his home and broke both of his hind legs. His owner decided to leave him to die without getting the treatment he desperately needed.  Tigger arrived at the clinic with severe injuries and in extreme pain. His X-ray images revealed that he broke both of his femur bones, and the vet explained that the surgery to repair the broken thigh is complicated and expensive, and it takes a few months for Tigger to fully heal.  The 1st surgery to insert the IM pins into both of the femurs was done, but it showed signs of complications a week after the surgery, and Tigger was once again rushed to the surgery room to drain the abscess, which infected the intramedullary implant.  The second surgery was successfully done, and he needs to be on cage rest for around 6 to 8 weeks to prevent further complications after surgery.  The to...

Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection

S.O.S !!! Help needed for Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection. We received a heartbreaking message from a volunteer who discovered this cat with several wounds and a fractured hind leg in Putatan, Sabah.  Pororo, the cat, was safely turned over to our staff after the first vet at another pet clinic declined to treat him. The cat was near death, suffering from agony, weakness, and extreme dehydration. Pororo's organ was going to shut down owing to dehydration, but thank goodness he arrived at the clinic on time. The X-ray results revealed that he had broken one of his hind legs, and the wound on the other hind leg was seriously infected, with maggots still consuming his rotting flesh.  Because of his fragile state, he was placed on an intravenous drip to stay hydrated, and after nearly a week, he is finally ready for the limb amputation procedure.  The vet has noticed another health issue, this time a wound on his nose. The skin test confirm...
