A little tender loving care goes a long way for this street dog, whose limbs were crushed and mutilated after he was run over by a car in Tambunan . Sabah.

Poor Boss before his amputation surgery

Young male dog named Boss been run over by a car in Tambunan . Sabah and left untreated for 1 week before he was finally rescued and transfered to ALIR in Inanam by our volunteer in Tambunan and immediately taken to the vet clinic in Tuaran by our President.

The dog's legs could be seen horrifically crushed and mangled, with bone and muscle exposed. Even with the severe injuries , Boss appeared to be alive with no other health issues

Doctors took him into surgery and amputate 1 of his crushed limb and giving another try to save the other one.

Boss after his 2nd amputation surgery

Just few days after the surgery , the other leg showing negative progress and needed to be amputated too.

The second amputation surgery was done smoothly and it took few weeks for him to fully recovered. It didn't took long for him to adapt to his new condition and Thank God that after all the training he finally managed to walk and play even with only his 2 front legs.

It's almost 2 years now since he was rescued and doin great with his new life. His disability doesn't stop him from just active and playful just like other 4 legged dogs.

🆘️🆘️📌 Please help Tigger, the dog with broken legs who was left to die 🙏😭 He was once loved, but after he was hit by a car while guarding his home and broke both of his hind legs. His owner decided to leave him to die without getting the treatment he desperately needed. Tigger arrived at the clinic with severe injuries and in extreme pain. His X-ray images revealed that he broke both of his femur bones, and the vet explained that the surgery to repair the broken thigh is complicated and expensive, and it takes a few months for Tigger to fully heal. The 1st surgery to insert the IM pins into both of the femurs was done, but it showed signs of complications a week after the surgery, and Tigger was once again rushed to the surgery room to drain the abscess, which infected the intramedullary implant. S.O.S !!! Help needed for Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection. We received a heartbreaking message from a volunteer who discovered this cat with several wounds and a fractured hind leg in Putatan, Sabah. Pororo, the cat, was safely turned over to our staff after the first vet at another pet clinic declined to treat him. The cat was near death, suffering from agony, weakness, and extreme dehydration. Pororo's organ was going to shut down owing to dehydration, but thank goodness he arrived at the clinic on time. The X-ray results revealed that he had broken one of his hind legs, and the wound on the other hind leg was seriously infected, with maggots still consuming his rotting flesh. Because of his fragile state, he was placed on an intravenous drip to stay hydrated, and after nearly a week, he is finally ready for the limb amputation procedure.
