Mami KM with severe wound on her face has finally rescued !

Been waiting for volunteers to help but non willing to help our volunteer . The dog's condition become worse every second and we just couldn't stand to wait for help from people in the area anymore.

Our rescuer arrived in Kota Marudu around 3pm yesterday and went straight to the location where the dog was last seen. With over 10 years of experiences in rescuing dogs , our rescuer managed to catch the dog in just few minutes and she was taken straight to Marudu Animal Clinic in Kota Marudu.

The dog's condition has become severe where she lost over half of her face and the wound is filled with hundred of flesh eating maggots.

We named the dog Mami KM. The surgery to remove and to clean the wound on her face was done by the vet, she will still need to be closely monitored and the wound will need to be clean every day too.

Poor Mami KM will be on her antibiotic , anti-inflammatory , vitamins and other supplements . Once she is stable and fit enough , vet will proceed with her chemo session.

With her severe condition and huge open wound on the face , she might have to be warded 2 - 3 weeks at the vet and the estimation cost is around RM1800 (or more , depends on how long the treatment )

We understand that the cost is expensive for severe case like this , therefore we just want to ask for a smalls l donation of RM1 from 1800 followers so we can collect enough fund for Mami KM's treatment.

S.O.S !!! Help needed for Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection. We received a heartbreaking message from a volunteer who discovered this cat with several wounds and a fractured hind leg in Putatan, Sabah. Pororo, the cat, was safely turned over to our staff after the first vet at another pet clinic declined to treat him. The cat was near death, suffering from agony, weakness, and extreme dehydration. Pororo's organ was going to shut down owing to dehydration, but thank goodness he arrived at the clinic on time. The X-ray results revealed that he had broken one of his hind legs, and the wound on the other hind leg was seriously infected, with maggots still consuming his rotting flesh.
