Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection

S.O.S !!! Help needed for Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection. We received a heartbreaking message from a volunteer who discovered this cat with several wounds and a fractured hind leg in Putatan, Sabah.  Pororo, the cat, was safely turned over to our staff after the first vet at another pet clinic declined to treat him. The cat was near death, suffering from agony, weakness, and extreme dehydration. Pororo's organ was going to shut down owing to dehydration, but thank goodness he arrived at the clinic on time. The X-ray results revealed that he had broken one of his hind legs, and the wound on the other hind leg was seriously infected, with maggots still consuming his rotting flesh.  Because of his fragile state, he was placed on an intravenous drip to stay hydrated, and after nearly a week, he is finally ready for the limb amputation procedure.  The vet has noticed another health issue, this time a wound on his nose. The skin test confirm...

Brown, the abandoned crippled dog with TVT cancer

Poor Brown was left behind by his owner and was just hit by a car in Putatan, Sabah. Fortunately, the neighbour who had been feeding him since his owner abandoned him noticed the dog as he dragged himself down the street.  Brown was successfully rescued and sent to Klinik Haiwan & Surgeri Tuaran for a checkup and treatment after a helpful neighbour informed us. A blood test and examination revealed that the dog has TVT cancer in his private parts and requires treatment.  His X-ray results also revealed that the accident caused a spine fracture, rendering him paraplegic from the waist to his legs. His first chemotherapy session was done at the vet clinic, and his broken back bone does not require surgery because nerves can heal after an injury, but it is a gradual process. Brown need ongoing physiotherapy and acupuncture; hopefully, he will be able to walk again soon.  The X-ray, diagnostics, chemotherapy treatment, and medications cost a total of RM700. We need...

Rambo, the dog with a damaged eye

Being a stray is extremely difficult, and none of these voiceless creatures would have wanted to be born without a safe home, care, and affection from humans. They were always chased away and accused of being a nuisance by many uncaring people who sought to harm them; some were killed while attempting to survive on the street.  This sad dog, now known as Rambo, has endured the brutal realities of life on the streets. He was discovered with a terrible wound on his left eye and on his back by a follower in Kolombong, Sabah, who immediately reported the incident to our team. Our rescuer was able to rescue this poor dog and transport him to Klinik Haiwan and Surgeri Tuaran for treatment. Following a thorough health and physical check, we determined that Rambo's left eye was gravely damaged, and the vet had no alternative but to remove his damaged eye ball.  Rambo's wound dressing, eye removal, and castration procedure went smoothly, and he will continue to take his medicati...

Harvey The Cat Who Lost Half Of His Face

When we first received the video of this poor cat two nights ago, we burst into tears when we saw this innocent cat with such horrible injuries.  Harvey the cat was found in Tenghilan , Sabah with a severe facial injury, and he bassically lost half of his face. The cat was rescued by the informant, who contacted our team for assistance. The poor cat was handed to our rescuer and was taken to Klinik haiwan & surgeri Tuaran for immediate treatment. This is the worse cat's case this year , the injury is too severe and we couldn't even imagine the pain as the maggots eating his face alive 😭.  Before the surgery The veterinarian couldn’t say for certain how Harvey got the injuries to his face; they theorised that he may have been attacked by another cat and left untreated, or maybe tortured by someone? Only God knows what happened. Stay strong and please get well soon Harvey 🙏
