Rambo, the dog with a damaged eye

Being a stray is extremely difficult, and none of these voiceless creatures would have wanted to be born without a safe home, care, and affection from humans.

They were always chased away and accused of being a nuisance by many uncaring people who sought to harm them; some were killed while attempting to survive on the street.

This sad dog, now known as Rambo, has endured the brutal realities of life on the streets. He was discovered with a terrible wound on his left eye and on his back by a follower in Kolombong, Sabah, who immediately reported the incident to our team.

Our rescuer was able to rescue this poor dog and transport him to Klinik Haiwan and Surgeri Tuaran for treatment. Following a thorough health and physical check, we determined that Rambo's left eye was gravely damaged, and the vet had no alternative but to remove his damaged eye ball.

Rambo's wound dressing, eye removal, and castration procedure went smoothly, and he will continue to take his medication for another week before being discharged and sent to ALIR shelter.

The whole cost of surgery, ward fees, and drugs is roughly RM800. Can anyone help with Rambo's veterinary bills? Even the smallest sum of RM1 per individual means a lot to us at this critical time.

Trinie the cat who become paralysed and lost her unborn kittens after being beaten A cat was discovered on the side of the road in Tuaran, Sabah, after suffering an attack. Eyewitnesses reported that she had been beaten, resulting in severe injuries. Tragically, the attack led to a miscarriage, further compounding her suffering.
