From Abandoned to Adored: Banban the Paralyzed Puppy’s Inspiring Transformation Will Melt Your Heart!
A passerby in Tenghilan, Sabah, discovered a little, shivering puppy laying in the shade of a decaying wooden hut. Banban, the puppy, was in serious condition, extremely dehydrated, malnourished, and paralysed, with extensive wounds on his tiny body. It was obvious that he had been abandoned by a cruel owner who had left him to fend for himself.

The case was reported to us and rescuer rushed to the scene to help the poor puppy. The rescuer’s heart sank at the sight of the helpless creature. He scooped Banban into his arms and rushed him to Klinik Haiwan & Surgeri Tuaran, a local veterinary clinic known for its compassionate care.
Banban's days became weeks as he went through a rigorous treatment plan. The veterinary team worked diligently to treat his wounds, feed him, and provide him with the love and attention he so sorely required. As Banban’s physical condition improved and finally discharged from the vet . Banban was transfered to the foster hom where the fosterer focused on his emotional well-being. They showered him with affection, encouraging him to trust again. Slowly but surely, Banban learned to wag his tail and respond to gentle voices.

Banban’s right hind leg had suffered severe damage, and despite the best efforts of the veterinary team, it became clear that the disability would not be reversible.
