Stray Dogs , deserve a 2nd chance too !!!

A couple of Animal Lovers in Taman Ganang Kepayan been feeding the stray dogs in the area for years but few days ago , they saw 5 traps which set up by the authority in the area and called A.L.I.R for help.

They concern about the safety n the future of the stray dogs as they don't know what will happen to the strays once they got caught and after the discussion with the President , we decided to spare a space for these poor dogs at A.L.I.R shelter.

Mr Walter and Sis Cynthia manage to gather up other animal lovers to help A.L.I.R for this mission. After 4 hours , we only manage to catch 3 dogs .

We will continue the rescue mission again tomorrow night and hopefully we will manage to catch all dogs in the area before they get caught by the authority.

~ From the info that we received , someone had made a complaint about the stray dogs in the area becoz their cat was bitten by the stray dog.

Friendly reminder to the person who made the complain :
If u wanna own a pet , make sure u take good care of ur pet n make sure they stay in ur compound and u shouldn't blame the stray dogs for killing ur pet as that is their nature .. its the owner's responsibility to take good care of the pet before anything bad happen to ur beloved pet. at the end of the day u end up blaming the poor stray dogs. U shud have blame urself before pointing ur fingers toward the stray dogs.

To the authority ... there are 2 group of people in the society "the group of people who complaint VS the group of Animal Lovers who concern about the stray dogs" ... U can't satisfied 1 group of society only , u shud also make explanation to the other group of society as they are concern n do care about the stray's welfare n safety too.

Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection

S.O.S !!! Help needed for Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection. We received a heartbreaking message from a volunteer who discovered this cat with several wounds and a fractured hind leg in Putatan, Sabah. Pororo, the cat, was safely turned over to our staff after the first vet at another pet clinic declined to treat him. The cat was near death, suffering from agony, weakness, and extreme dehydration. Pororo's organ was going to shut down owing to dehydration, but thank goodness he arrived at the clinic on time. The X-ray results revealed that he had broken one of his hind legs, and the wound on the other hind leg was seriously infected, with maggots still consuming his rotting flesh. Because of his fragile state, he was placed on an intravenous drip to stay hydrated, and after nearly a week, he is finally ready for the limb amputation procedure.
