DOG BECOME BLIND AND DEAF WITH FRACTURED SKULL AFTER BEING BRUTALLY BEATEN AND LEFT FOR DEAD IN TELIPOK , SABAH

This female adult dog was beaten so severely by a group of teenager in Telipok Ria , Sabah and witnessed by a kind lady who managed to stopped the teenagers from beating the dog to death.

The poor dog that we named Mimircon was found lying unconsciously on the road by the kind lady , she immediately contacted us , begging and crying for us to help the poor dog.

Mimicron arrived at Klinik Haiwan & Surgeri Tuaran with the help from the volunteer in a comatose state and near death. Her condition was beyond horrific but knowing that her heart is still beating and she is still breating , that a HUGE signs that we should not give up on her.

She was beaten so severely that it not only fractured her skull but also made both of her eyes blind and caused her deaf.

There are no surgery that can be done to repair or to reverse the damaged . She will forever needs a special care and support to continue her life after she completed her treatment at the vet clinic , but months after she was rescued and received the treatment , she proved to us that miracle do happen.

She has gained weight and becoming more independent now. She can lift her head , can walk and run too. The best part is she uses her nose to sniff out her new mom and dad , she can find her own food bowl and even pee and poop in a toilet.

So instead of saying .. " nice to see you " , Mimicron will greet you by saying "nice to sniff you !"

Mimicron is one among many rescued furkids in ALIR Shelter who need extra attention and special care. While others said they have no quality of life and should just end their lives , we in ALIR believe in miracle and believe that all creature deserves a second chance.

His owner decided to leave him to die without getting the treatment he desperately needed. Tigger arrived at the clinic with severe injuries and in extreme pain. His X-ray images revealed that he broke both of his femur bones, and the vet explained that the surgery to repair the broken thigh is complicated and expensive, and it takes a few months for Tigger to fully heal. The 1st surgery to insert the IM pins into both of the femurs was done, but it showed signs of complications a week after the surgery, and Tigger was once again rushed to the surgery room to drain the abscess, which infected the intramedullary implant. S.O.S !!! Help needed for Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection. We received a heartbreaking message from a volunteer who discovered this cat with several wounds and a fractured hind leg in Putatan, Sabah. Pororo, the cat, was safely turned over to our staff after the first vet at another pet clinic declined to treat him. The cat was near death, suffering from agony, weakness, and extreme dehydration. Pororo's organ was going to shut down owing to dehydration, but thank goodness he arrived at the clinic on time. The X-ray results revealed that he had broken one of his hind legs, and the wound on the other hind leg was seriously infected, with maggots still consuming his rotting flesh. Because of his fragile state, he was placed on an intravenous drip to stay hydrated, and after nearly a week, he is finally ready for the limb amputation procedure.
