Please Help Tofu the rescued cat to fight Sporo

This poor cat was found by our volunteer who noticed him hiding near the garbage bin at his work place. He feed the cats around his area once a day after his working hour , but this is the 1st time he ever seen this cat.

The cat's condition is so severe , he then brought the cat straight to the vet clinic near his work place. The poor was examine by the vet and its confirmed that the cat that we named Tofu is positive with Sporo or Sporotrichosis , a type of fungal infection which can cause death if not treated properly.

We have started Tofu's treatment and hopes that he will respond positively and swiftly to the treatment , yet it really depending on his immune system to fight this infection.

Please help us to pray for Tofu's smooth recovery and please help him with his medical fees too , even the smallest donation of RM1 will make a huge difference in the lives of the rescued animals in ALIR Shelter.

His owner decided to leave him to die without getting the treatment he desperately needed. Tigger arrived at the clinic with severe injuries and in extreme pain. His X-ray images revealed that he broke both of his femur bones, and the vet explained that the surgery to repair the broken thigh is complicated and expensive, and it takes a few months for Tigger to fully heal. S.O.S !!! Help needed for Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection. We received a heartbreaking message from a volunteer who discovered this cat with several wounds and a fractured hind leg in Putatan, Sabah. Pororo, the cat, was safely turned over to our staff after the first vet at another pet clinic declined to treat him. The cat was near death, suffering from agony, weakness, and extreme dehydration. Pororo's organ was going to shut down owing to dehydration, but thank goodness he arrived at the clinic on time. The X-ray results revealed that he had broken one of his hind legs, and the wound on the other hind leg was seriously infected, with maggots still consuming his rotting flesh. Because of his fragile state, he was placed on an intravenous drip to stay hydrated, and after nearly a week, he is finally ready for the limb amputation procedure.
