  Oreo before she was rescued  Oreo the friendly stray dog from Bandar Sierra has been walking around the neighborhood with a HUGE tumor hanging from her belly.  The tumor ALIR received the report about this poor dog early this month but not able to rescue due to quarantine period. Thank God that the poor dog had finally rescued by her feeders and sent straight to the vet clinic in Tuaran , Sabah. Oreo after she was rescued  Poor Oreo has a mammary tumor on her abdomen area and it has started bleeding, Thank God that she was rescued on time or else her condition will be much worse.  Mammary tumors are observed as a solid mass underneath the belly and at this point in time, surgical removal of the tumors is the best treatment of choice.   This poor dog was neglected by her owner after been hit by car and left with severely infected wound on both of her back legs and tail in Keningau , Sabah.  The other feeder in the area had made an effort to bring the dog to the vet for treatment but they were not  able to feed the dog the her meds and not able to clean the dog's wound and ended up using traditional method to treat the dog's wound which was by applying coffee on the wound .  Instead of getting better , the wound had become worse and got more infected . Dog with multiple bite wounds on her right front leg was found abandoned on the side of the road in Keningau , Sabah .  She was unable to move , not knowing what's gonna happen to her and waited for hours for someone to help her . Thank God that a kind lady had discovered her while lying helplessly on the ground and contacted ALIR for assistant. We received the report and made an arrangement with Dr Freska from Klinik Haiwan & Surgeri Keningau to accept the case under our account. The kind lady rushed the poor dog to the clinic and as soon as Mila and her rescuer arrived , the dog was examine by the vet . It turned out that Mila had multiple bite wounds and a fractured front leg from being attacked by bigger animals and it was also infected. We received a report from a police officer at Papar roadblock about a poor cat that appeared at their working station with such heartbreaking condition. They couldn't stand looking at the cat as he was suffering from a severe case of mange and contacted ALIR for help 🙏 Rescuer was sent to the location and the poor cat that we named Junior was finally in a safe hands of our rescuer. He was then sent to the clinic and it's confirmed that he is suffering from severe mange and the blood test result also shows that poor Junior andy is positive with blood parasite too.  He received a dose of antibiotics and injection for the skin infection and fluids . Junior will need another 2 dose of injection in another 2 weeks time and in a mean time , he will be under the intensive care or our fosterer until he fully recover.  We really hope that the treatment and healing process will be smooth and success. Poor Odel after his surgery Odel the young male dog was attacked by other bigger dog in Menggatal , Sabah , leaving him with a serious bite wound near his bum and the poor dog was safely taken to the vet clinic in Tuaran for immediate treatment.  The wound was so severe and infected , vet had removed foreign material and dead tissue from the infected area then cleaned the wound while the dog was under anesthesia. Next the wound was closed and sutured in order for speed healing.  The surgery on Odel was successfully done by the vet and he's lucky that there's no damaged to his nerve ,colon or intestines  He was on his daily antibiotic injections for 3 days and followed with oral antibiotic and pain meds for almost a week before he was finally discharged from the vet clinic.   The total cost of his surgery and treatment as calculated by the vet is RM370 and we in need of help from 37 kind hearted animal lovers to donate RM10 per person in order to reach the total ...

We were alerted to Philosopy by the member of public who was feeding her and she showed up with severe injury on her neck.  The next morning she managed to contain the cat in her property and contacted us straight away. Rescuer was sent to her location and sent the cat to Klinik Haiwan & Surgery Tuaran for immediate treatment.  She looked in quite a lot of pain , see wasn't comfortable but the vet managed to treat her right away.  The wound might had started off as a cat bite abscess which is quite common in cats especially the homeless cats. It actually quite necrotic when she came in , there was a lot of dead tissue around and a lot of pus.
