An adult male dog was found with severe wound on his back by member of public in Ranau , Sabah and contacted ALIR for assistant.

German was seen sitting at the corner of the building after he was attacked - blood can still be seen on the floor and the wall

APM finally arrived and transported German to the vet

ALIR managed to deal with the vet at the clinic to set an emergency appointment for the dog's surgery and the informer managed to get help from Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia (APM) team to transport the poor dog to Sunriz Veterinary Clinic & Surgery in Ranau.

He arrived at the clinic and waiting for his turn to meet thet vet

The dog that the vet named German was safely arrived at the vet clinic and had taken straight to the surgery room. Few hours after he was sent to the clinic , we received a call from the vet and informed us that the surgery went well.

After the surgery

Poor German was in stable condition and was discharged from the vet clinic then transported back to the informer's house as their family is willing to foster the poor dog until he is fully recovered.

We are also appealing for information to find the person responsible for the sickening attack on German. The abuser can be charged under the Section 18(1)(e) of the Animal Welfare Enactment 2015 which carries a maximum fine of RM100,000 or a jail term of three years of both.

S.O.S !!! Help needed for Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection. We received a heartbreaking message from a volunteer who discovered this cat with several wounds and a fractured hind leg in Putatan, Sabah. Pororo, the cat, was safely turned over to our staff after the first vet at another pet clinic declined to treat him. The cat was near death, suffering from agony, weakness, and extreme dehydration. Pororo's organ was going to shut down owing to dehydration, but thank goodness he arrived at the clinic on time.
