Snowy The Adorable Paralysed Kitten

Meet Snowy the adorable blue eyes kitten with hind leg paralysis ❤

Poor Snowy was found and rescued by a kind hearted man who noticed that the little white kitten's hind legs were injured and he was unable to walk. He rescued the poor paralysed cat and immediately took him to the vet clinic in his area.

After taking the kitten to a veterinarian, the vet discovered that he had a spinal injury, leaving him with hind leg paralysis and incontinence. While it’s impossible to determine exactly how the kitten received the trauma to his spine but he certainly never be able to walk again.

Caring for special needs kitten like Snowy needs commitment , with a busy schedule every day , Snowy's rescuer knew that he couldn't provide the best care for him and decided to seeked help from ALIR.  After the arrangement with our team , Snowy is now under the care of our caretaker.

Despite the kitten's injuries , he didn't seem in pain , he ate very well and he even play just like other normal kittens too. Snowy is still on his medications every day , he needs extra assistance to pee and poo as we had removed the catheter tube from his private part which made him uncomfortable when moving around.

We need to make sure that we apply vaseline around his private and anus area to prevent from urine burn and since he's not able to pee normally , his bladder needs to be compress 3 to 5 times a day and he needs his liquid paraffin to help him poo.

Snowy will soon start his Acupressure therapy session along with his other paralysed fur buddies and we are hoping to see his positive progress from the therapy , who knows that miracle might happen right? We will surely make a regular update on Snowy's condition and progress.

πŸ†˜️πŸ†˜️πŸ“Œ Please help Tigger, the dog with broken legs who was left to die πŸ™πŸ˜  He was once loved, but after he was hit by a car while guarding his home and broke both of his hind legs. His owner decided to leave him to die without getting the treatment he desperately needed.  Tigger arrived at the clinic with severe injuries and in extreme pain. His X-ray images revealed that he broke both of his femur bones, and the vet explained that the surgery to repair the broken thigh is complicated and expensive, and it takes a few months for Tigger to fully heal.  The 1st surgery to insert the IM pins into both of the femurs was done, but it showed signs of complications a week after the surgery, and Tigger was once again rushed to the surgery room to drain the abscess, which infected the intramedullary implant.  The second surgery was successfully done, and he needs to be on cage rest for around 6 to 8 weeks to prevent further complications after surgery.  The to...
