Feeding The Street Animals

We just couldn't imagine the feeling of the street dogs waiting for us in hunger every morning , that's why feeding the street dogs is part of our routine and duty every single day.

Thank you to our volunteers who help us feeding the furry buddies while our feeders and most of us in ALIR is still sick and in quarantine period.

When people asked us why don't we just stop feeding them cause we have no steady funding now ? We just smile and answered "we believe that God will help us in any way he can , cause he will not let our street dogs die in hunger".

Everytime we went for feeding session , our street dogs already waiting for us on the side of the road at the exact spot we feed them everyday. Just imagine that you are them , how would you feel to wait in empty stomach? 😭😭

We can't rescue them all due to shelter issues now and feeding them daily is least that we can do to help them. Everyday we feed them 20 bags of dog food for around 60 street dogs and we still have over 200 dogs and cats under our care at the shelter and foster homes.

Without your help , they will be starving .. please help us to help them .. even as small as RM1 per person will make a huge difference in every lives of the street animals and the rescued animals in ALIR Shelter.

🆘️🆘️📌 Please help Tigger, the dog with broken legs who was left to die 🙏😭 He was once loved, but after he was hit by a car while guarding his home and broke both of his hind legs. His owner decided to leave him to die without getting the treatment he desperately needed. Tigger arrived at the clinic with severe injuries and in extreme pain. His X-ray images revealed that he broke both of his femur bones, and the vet explained that the surgery to repair the broken thigh is complicated and expensive, and it takes a few months for Tigger to fully heal. The 1st surgery to insert the IM pins into both of the femurs was done, but it showed signs of complications a week after the surgery, and Tigger was once again rushed to the surgery room to drain the abscess, which infected the intramedullary implant. Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection

S.O.S !!! Help needed for Pororo the cat with broken , wounded legs and sporo infection. We received a heartbreaking message from a volunteer who discovered this cat with several wounds and a fractured hind leg in Putatan, Sabah. Pororo, the cat, was safely turned over to our staff after the first vet at another pet clinic declined to treat him. The cat was near death, suffering from agony, weakness, and extreme dehydration. Pororo's organ was going to shut down owing to dehydration, but thank goodness he arrived at the clinic on time. The X-ray results revealed that he had broken one of his hind legs, and the wound on the other hind leg was seriously infected, with maggots still consuming his rotting flesh. Because of his fragile state, he was placed on an intravenous drip to stay hydrated, and after nearly a week, he is finally ready for the limb amputation procedure.
